The APP Advantage

There are essentially (3) options available to performing arts organizations when it comes to publishing, self-publishing, working with an independent publisher, or Adwork Publishing Partnerships.

The self-publishing option insures organizational control of design, marketing and production. This option requires adequate staffing and increased overhead expenses.

The second option, working with an independent publisher, eliminates the added staffing and overhead expenses while providing income in the form of license fees. The license agreement allows the publisher to utilize the organizations’ brand to sell advertising to cover production expenses and generate publisher profits. License fees average between 5% and 10% of projected advertising revenue. Organizations surrender control of marketing and production to the publisher.

The third option, Adwork Publishing Partnerships, insures organizational control, eliminates the need for additional staffing and increased overhead expenses while channeling 20% of the advertising revenue to APP partner organizations. Publishing services, publisher profits and quality publications is the APP advantage.
